Managing pharmaceutical quality throughout the product life cycle

Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 November 2005

A two-day international conference organised by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) in partnership with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain
PROGRAMME AND CALL FOR POSTERS

Introduction

The international quality environment is changing swiftly with major impact on the development, registration and life cycle management of new medicines.

Within only a few years, new concepts have been introduced including Quality by Design, PAT, GMPs for the 21st Century, and Risk Management.
Many of these concepts will strongly influence our daily practice, whether we are working in the pharmaceutical industry or with the regulatory authorities.

This two-day Conference provides the participant not only with an update of the latest status, but especially emphasises the interplay between these new concepts. Case studies in each session will assure that delegates will obtain an in-depth understanding.

The aims of Quality-International 2005 are:

  • to disseminate the most current news and views from the ICH working groups, and
  • to discuss experience obtained by regulatory authorities and the industry

The format of Quality-International 2005 will include:

  • plenary presentations by leading international experts
  • case studies showing real-life examples, associated with each session
  • panel discussions at the end of each session to allow speakers from the floor to contribute
  • poster sessions

Who should attend:

Quality issues are important across a broad range of activities in the pharmaceutical industry.
Therefore, the programme for this Conference has been designed to be of interest to those with responsibilities in all aspects of pharmaceutical production and manufacture, research and development, quality assurance and quality control, regulatory affairs and to the regulatory authorities.

Poster session:

During the lunch breaks and the wine reception participants will be given the unique opportunity to discuss their poster with the experts from EMEA, FDA and industry. Space is limited. Reserve your poster place by sending in your abstract in time.
